Based on a shounen manga by Yasuda Suzuhito serialised in Shounen Sirius.
Akina, Hime, Kotoha, and Ao are four members of the Hiizumi Seikatsu Soudan Jimusho (Hiizumi’s Everyday-life Consultation Office), which, in addition to helping kindergarteners deal with tough times, strives to preserve the peace of their little town, Sakurashin, by hunting down the troublemakers who dare threaten it.
Hime is a superheroine. Ao can read minds. Kotoha can conjure up anything with the right word. And Akina…well, he’s just a regular guy, surrounded by three supergirls! Together, they protect the town of Sakurashin. But that’s not easy, as the town faces demon dogs and other supernatural threats! -AniDB
The story revolves around a quartet of teenaged heroes: A super-strong girl named Hime, a mind reader named Ao, a conjurer named Kotoha and an ordinary, powerless boy named Akina. The three girls and Akina protect the city of Sakurashin from supernatural threats. -ANN
Ohma is a city in which monsters live. In this city, there are two kinds of people; normal people, and those who possess monstrous powers. However, many people think of monsters as a different existence, and tend to persecute them. Therefore, monsters usually hide their true nature, living secretly.
To solve this problem, the grandfather of the protagonist, Akina, and his friend bred a cherry tree called “Nanago”. It had the special power to stabilize the power of monsters. This is the origin of Ohma; the city protected by Nanago. Ohma was the one and only city managed by monsters, and in this city people and monsters have been living together. However this situation changed dramatically two years ago…-AnFO

Comment:
After watch the show, I would say that this one is Not bad. Reminds me of Rental Magica. Another Youkai Show for this season. Last summer we got Natsume Yuujinchou, and now we got Yozakura Quartet. The animation quality is fine, Character designs are good too. Storyline is similar to ordinary youkai show, Eradicate and Protect the City. Unique ability from each character came up with it. Things that made me interesting that this one came from NOMAD, who produced mai Rozen Maiden and sola. So I expect this one will be a good show.
Gotta love the soundtrack. And oh.. mai Rie Tanaka is here too. :3

A nun from the Church of England who is found by Touma after somehow escaping and then chased. Her mind has been implanted with the Index-Librorum-Prohibitorum - 103,000 forbidden magical texts that the Church has removed and kept secret.
 Kamijou Touma
A boy attending Gakuen Toshi, a school to unlock supernatural abilities. Kamijou’s ability is the “Imagine Breaker” which can negate any supernatural or magical power if it directly comes in contact with his right hand. This ability is so strong however that it also negates any good luck that he could possibly have and he consequently has accidents all the time and is ranked lowest in school.
 Mikoto Misaka
A secondary school school who is known as one of the seven “Level 5″ meaning she is one of the strongest students in the school. She utilizes electricity in her attacks and her favorite one is her self proclaimed “rail gun.” After Touma tries to stop some thugs who were starting to bother her, Mikoto ends up taking care of the thugs and also attacks him as well, but is unable to hurt him because of his imagine breaker.
 Kaori Kanzaki
A 18 year old sorceress from Necessarius. Unlike her partner Stiyl, she uses magic to magically strengthen her body. Her sorcery name is Salvere000. She use a 2 meter long katana (which actually is a Nodachi) called “Seven Heavens Seven Swords” as her weapon. She has a special attack called Nanasen (七閃, Nanasen “Seven Flash”) that uses her katana and some wires.
 Stiyl Magnus
A sorcerer from Necessarius. His sorcery name is Fortis931. He’s an extremely heavy smoker - he claims a world without nicotine would be hell. He specializes in using flames and is able to use a flame sword or summon a 3000 degree Celsius fire called Innocens (魔女狩りの王, Majokari no Ō, “King of Witch Hunter”) to battle his enemies. Despite his looks, he is actually 14 years old and ironically is physically weak.
Comment:
When I saw JC Staff on the list, I was afraid that they will ruin the chara design just like what they have done to Toradora. But then, after I watched the first episode, it was awwsome. Kudos JC Staff. Good chara design, Good OP and ED, Loli teacher, Moe Index, Manly Touma, etc. This reminds me of Shakugan no Shana. The storyline is in a fast pace (Different with the mango) but still good. Really recommend this one.
